The annual Gator Festival in Marion County, Mississippi is held at the Columbia Water Park adjacent to the Pearl River. The canoe/kayak race begins at the Water Park and traverses a 5 mile section of the Pearl River to the boat landing at US Highway 98. A shuttle is provided for the return trip to the Water Park after completion of the race.
